SONAVOX  has passed the certification requirements for ISO 9000, VDA 6.1 (part 1), ISO 14000, TS16949, and Ford's Q1. In 2005, "Green Partners"was put into effect for improved environmental management. Within the scope and dictates of all these systems, Sonavox maintains complete tracking and recording of quality measures, allowing for timely feedback, treatment, analy-sis, and improvement of product quality. Internally, Receiving Inspection, In-Process QC, and QA serve monitor quality from parts received to products shipped. Supporting all these functions are complete testing and reliability laboratories to test for power, performance, safety, durability, and all environ-mental conditions. Acoustic labs include anechoic chambers and measure-ment equipment to test for sound performance. Electronic labs include in-circuit testing and equipment to analyze amplifier performance. Automotive labs allow for in-car measurements of complete sound systems.

Vertically integrated systems at Sonavox strike the best balance of cost control, time to market, and schedule flexibility. Internal capabilities include automated metal and plastic painting facilities, high-level decorating pro-cesses such as printing, screening, and hot-stamping. Sonavox manu-factures and maintains all injection tooling, and produces all injection-
molded parts. Other infrastructures include coil manufacturing, automated loud-speaker assembly, laser etching, sonic welding, and a patented foam-in-place manu-facturing system. Coordination of these resources is aided by ERP, PDS, QIS, and QA systems, which allow the staff to schedule and control all processes. These systems, integrated with the Sales staff, allow an improved time to market and cost controls. Sonavox delivers the best products at a reasonable cost in a timely manner.
